Hey, I’m Sara

I’m a passionate 30-something year old photographer, born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest—specifically Kitsap County. My journey with photography began at the age of nine, and I turned my love for capturing moments into a profession at sixteen. I originally started out creating conceptual art photographs and sharing my work online on websites like Flickr and DeviantART. Over the years, I began photographing local musicians and bands, which was an exciting chapter of my career. (That I still dabble in from time to time.) Then, almost by accident, I found myself photographing a wedding—and I was hooked. I fell in love with the energy, the emotions, and the once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I’ve been thriving in the wedding photography world ever since.

I believe that every photograph tells a story, and my goal is to help you tell yours through my lens and vision. Documentary photography is about capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold. Rather than relying on staged poses, I take an unobtrusive approach, focusing on the real emotions, connections, and details that make each story unique. My goal is to preserve the authenticity of every moment, creating timeless images that reflect the true essence of your day.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my husband and our two adorable cats, Roadie and Milo. We love visiting local game pubs, hiking, roller skating, and playing video games.
